Freakin' awesome is what it is! Other than that, I can't tell you anything...Looks like it has a headbadge--are you testing us?

 

[Unchained]

The dropouts, double bar curves, the chainring and chainguard, as well as the fork crown identify it as an H.P. Snyder made Hawthorne, anywhere form 1951- 1955 I think. The same frame was badged with Rollfast simultaneously but would then have a different chainring.The carrier and basket are period but are non original equipment buy the looks. Probably Wald add-ons. Nice find!

i have gotta agree with unchained (yet, again) that is a hawthorne. the chainguard for me was a dead give-a-way. id ride that bike as is. nice find. :mrgreen:
