What is this chainguard??????

Hi, I could use some help in a chainguard ID. The chainguard came on my 52 Monark, is this correct? If not what the heck did it come off of? Thanks in advance

I was told it could be prewar monark?

I think it is factory, on lower end, store brand bikes by Monark. Same one as on my J & R Flyer, which has blackout hubs, likely an early postwar bike.
