Looks to be a rat to me a mixture of a lot of different parts to make a cool looking bike.

Thanks for any ideas on what this.. I was just curios what it might have looked like originally.. I am stoked for my 100 dollar buy..

ts a newer bike. two things give it away with that last picture. the extra holes for where the support on the rear fender went. and the chain guard holder welded on. theres a possibility that its a huffy (thats what mine looks like) but i still have money on a new new schwinn/huffy.

The frame looks to be a Scwhinn frame. Either the kickstand mount has been cut off or it was one of the late 50's budget models that came without a kick stand. The head tube area is definitely Schwinn but some body has cut the cantilever tubes in front and rewelded( possibly a chop job like LocoJoes chop in the HowTo Manual). The rest of the bike is just a bunch of parts thrown on. The tank is not Schwinn, possibly homemade.

Nice Score for $100.

Welcome to RRB. You soon will be addicted to buying more bikes. Don't forget the Vintage Bike Swap is June 5 at the RiteAid on 16th and State.

Is the tank plastic? To me the frame looks like an 80's huffy. If the tank is plastic, those were manufactured for a while like a one-fits-all for canti frames. Front trusses look to be schwinn. And the fork looks like a racer fork that somebody bent the tubes to rake it out a bit. Looks like a cool little project.
