What size seat post?

Does anyone know what size seat post is used on a 63's model schwinn cruiser.

I just went through this at the LBS's and kept getting lectured about seat posts diameters being measured in millimeters now. The LBS's had to convert 13/16 to metric and kept getting P.O.'d. Plus after all the lectures, none of them had one and I had to order online. That is my tale of the 13/16 seat post. :mrgreen:
