i pretty certain they add allot of friction in order to pump the air to 90psi but it is a genious idea in theory , my respect to the inventor

I'm more interested in these air-jack hoses I see for sale. It's just a hose to fit tire valves and has a one-way check valve in it. It seems to be manufactured on the principle that if you get a flat you are going to transfer air from (an assumedly unsuspecting) someones car tire into your bike tire.

Considering that you have to pedal the thing all the time, seems it would make more economic sense to just get the foam-filled tires instead.
