Hi guys,
So I have had these rims in storage for some time now. They use to be mounted on my bicycle trailer...I have swapped them out for motorcycle wheels now...Have had the trailer for over 15years...

The rims are solid and heavy, run true.
The tires are cheng shin 26 x 13/4 Black with whitewall that runs inside the tyre(double sided)...like a spoke protector...Inside are tubes...Just noticed 1920 near chinese ?
After 15 years the air is still inside?
I'm thinking they are off a cargo/trade tricycle...
Any help...

Cheng shin didnt start making tyres until 1967...A good year. :D
I know these fit schwinn rims..
But the rims are much older???

Those hubs and spokes looks similar to the ones on my WWII military stretcher cart. I think the Schwinn size tire (26 x 1 3/4) also fits some English rims, EA3 maybe?

I agree that these wheels have a military look, but I'd be remiss if i didn't mention that 26x1 3/4 tires, aka s7 aka middleweights are 571mm, whereas ea3 aka 650a aka 26x1 3/8 tires are 590. 650c wheels/tires, which are typically ultra-lightweight, share the 571mm bsd, but these tend to be very narrow (less than 1"), so even those are not the same.

OP- those wheels look bombproof. Very nice.

Here are pics with em on the trailer.
The trailer folds down to a flatbed and the tow railing dismatles,so it all lays flat in the back of a car?

These are very heavy duty wheels, the hubs are as thick as rear coaster.
The guy that use to have the trailer is german, but he goes around and collects rubbish, and restores it...
So he might have brought it down or friends left it to him...
We purchased it over 15 yrs ago,sat outside all those years, then I decided to take it...
It gets used daily now. :D
