What's up with Sabotagecreations?

Hey guys,

Anybody here know if something happened to member Sabotagecreations? I've been trying to get ahold of him for several weeks now as he owes me a fair bit of cash from the bike collection he bought off me a few months ago. He has not responded to my emails, PMs, or phone calls, but I see he has poted pictures on his Flickr accound recently...with lots of pics of my old bikes.

I never want to think the worst of people, but I am getting more than a little concerned now. Just wondering if anybody else here knows personally.

Oooo, sorry to say it but sounds fishy to me. I don't know the guy but it sounds like he's not on the up and up. That's why I always deal on the spot cash for stuff no exception, no payment plans, no credit, no financing, when I get the cash you get the stuff. Or I hold the stuff till it's paid for.

He is somewhat local to me (a couple hours each way) and I had dealt with him in the past. He came by my house a few months ago and more or less bought my collection. He didn't have all the money right then, but I trusted him as I "knew" him. He told me it would be 2 weeks until he had the rest and now I can't get any answers. I am hoping somebody out there has dealt with him recently and knows if there is something going on with him.

According to the statistics, he hasn't posted here since May.

Like you, I never want to think the worst of people, especially folks that have found their way here and been part of Rat Rods for a while.

People do sometimes go through some tough times, and that can keep them from getting back to obligations they left hanging. I hope he gets back to you soon about what happened.

If it goes too long, we can always bring the full force of the New England Rat Rod Bikers to bear...

I dunno what happened to him, but a simple phone call or email would go a long way right now.

Especially when dealing with people in a friendly forum you never want things to go sour, and it could just be that he has fallen on hard times, however, that doesn't mean that you have to fall on those times with him. When something goes wrong with me, I will immediately get up with anyone who might be effected.

Being that this is "local" I know it's a long way, but if you know where he is, I'd say go to the house and load the bikes back up, don't be rude, just get back what is rightfully yours.

Maybe hes in the witness protection program. :lol: if he's having financial trouble, hey, we've all ben there one time or another. yes, its embarassing. but a phone call goes a long way to show your a good guy.

If I don't hear from him, I will stop by his place some time when I am in the area. I get up that way every so often.

I am just amazed at this turn of events.

Hard times or not, a simple "hey, sorry it's taking so long...." would be a good gesture from him.. Not hearing at all from him really kind of tells you he isn't coming back..hate to hear that, but wish you luck..paying a visit seems like your best option..
