Wheel size?

Hi all newbie here I found a cadet bike with 24" wheels . Is it possible to go up to 26" wheels

The bike has like five layers of house paint on it and they are asking $50 for it . there is a lot of play in the forks could just be bad bearings ?

Looks like a 26" bike with 24" wheels to me. Kind of smallish, though.

Hard to tell exactly, but it looks like it was made for 26" wheels, and someone put smaller wheels on it. Looks like a nice old bike, maybe the steering just needs bearings or tightened up.

measure a 26" wheel from axle to outer rim, around 13" , then measure the fork from dropout to top of inner fork

It looks like a Snyder "zep" style frame, minus the second bar. I'd say it's worth it! -Adam

It also has a skip tooth chain , I will be going to get in the AM
