After far too long of a battle, I finally succeeded. I didn't realize it, but the front axle used a proprietary thread pitch and size, somewhere between 7/16-24 and 11mm-ish. I ordered several different sizes and thread pitches, and nothing fit. So I replaced that axle with a standard 3/8"-24, but my new problem was that the bearing race on the hub was larger than any bicycle bearing cone I owned. I tell you, getting exact manufacturer specs for stuff like bearing races and cones is a freaking nightmare. But I finally cobbled together the parts and got the front sorted. While I was at it, I swapped the fork with the wrong brake mount tab with one on the correct side. Yes, I said it, the brake was backwards and I was an idiot. But everything is shiny now, and both wheels are built and trued

This is gonna be kool~! I like how your tire width and rim width are almost the same. You pulled a hot rod look on a skinny tire build. :nerd:

I wanted a few interesting details on it, so rather than just capping the end of the tubing, I sliced it at an angle to make some spikey bits, then capped them and blended the weld for a seamless appearance

I don't have a fancy shmancey Tig rig, but I do have skills with flame welding. I'm pretty rusty, but it looks decent enough.

Got the rear axle spacing figured out with help from the oxygen tank cap.

Still have to work on the dishing of the rear rim, it's off by about 1/2" on this current setup

Added the seat brace.

Originally rolled it to match the radius of the wheel, but I liked it better at an odd angle.

I wanted it to flow better with the spike on the bottom, so I fired up the torch and gave her a tug.

Still working on the design for the dropouts and the rest of the rear end, and I also decided that it needs some kind of a tank
