Wide production bikes

What production bikes (That are somewhat easily found) have wide chainstays to accept maybe a 4" wheel without heavy modding?

OCC Schwinn Stingray comes to mind, plenty of 20" bikes on craigslist and at rummage sales all day long.

I think you're limited to 24/26"x 3" width unless you step up to a semi-custom build. Check Electras, Phats and Felts. Some limited-production Micargis might get close (Royal).

I was able to get a 24"x 3.45" on a rear triangle off of a cheapo 26" full suspension MB with the only mode being I had to squeeze ithe back end together because it was to wide for my single speed hub. I am assuming it once has 6-7 gears in the back. You can see it on this build viewtopic.php?t=23808

Only thing that comes to mind is surley and some chopper bikes.
