Here are some photos of the beach cruiser I built for my wife last winter. I can't recall the make, but it was an ugly POS, and I had to figure out how to make it cooler.

Frame is painted matte black with gold leaf pinstriping.
There is a beer can used as a "head badge" mounted on the seat tube.
It was a 10 speed, but now it is a 2 speed with rat-fink style skull shifter.
I engraved a pattern on the handle bars to spiff them up a bit.
There are other odds and ends, but at the end of the day- it is no longer as lame as it was...

Great. Can you post pics if the shifter and beer can headbadge? Thanks

I hope this is enough detail...
* The beer can is held on with brass wood screws (there is a cut-down broom handle in the seat post into which the wood screws can bite)
* The shifter is made from a skull car shift knob, and the handle is a cut down golf club shaft epoxied to both the skull and the stock shift lever.
