hello, tis is probably a stupid question but just want to double check myself, a friend gave me a girls schwinn in pretty good shape, the serial number is
a012183, i looked on the help page and it says jan 1960 am i reading this right?\

id say 60 is right, looks like it may have had some parts swapped (seat post, bars). it could of been a handful of models, but if the fenders are original it was most likely a debutante or fair lady, but fenders are easily swapped out too.
