Hi guys,
Just started a new build. Well sort of. I have been building motor bikes and making in-frame gas tanks for the Schwinn Panthers and straightbar frames. People have asked if I could do a tank for the Worksman Industrial Newsboy frames. I finally built one. When I say this is sort of a new build I mean that I may not actually finish this bike, but who knows maybe someone will finish it for me. Tanks will be available soon if anyone needs one for a build.

Here is a Schwinn Panther tank to compare with. This shape follows the stock Schwinn configuration while the Worksman tank follows the 1920's boardtrack racers. All tanks are CAD designed laser cut stainless steel and tig welded together.

The Worksman should be around $200 once I finalize pricing. I get $250 on the Panther tanks. I know, it's expensive, but materials alone run me over $75 per tank and I put hours into each one. That said, they are worth every penny.

Actually, that seems quite reasonable. You can get small mass-produced stamp+crimp tanks much cheaper, but then you have a small mass-produced stamp+crimp cheap tank. Specific fit tanks for motorcycles go for 3-4 times as much.

That looks amazing.

I'm going to start a Worksman build soon. As much as I would love to put a tank like that on, I'll have to settle for asking if you would make stainless tank plates for those frames .

Here are a couple more recent pictures. It's hard to see the bike with all the cluter in the shop. but it's the cluter that builds the bike.

I had it outside so I took some better pictures. Built the intake manifold and started to pattern the oil tank/tool box. Engine is an 80cc Grubee GT5 slant head, Monarch forks and Worksman aluminum wheels with 11 gauge spokes.

looks awesome! how much would it be for you to build me one of those tanks?
I am currently working on an order for tanks and am a few weeks out. If you need a tank right away call Pirates Cycles, they should have a couple in stock.
