wow, glad you hear you are ok, i've really been thinking about stuff like that, i always tell myself "what are chances?" it really is unexpected.
we are starting to get our hurricane season into full swing down here, today was non stop rain and 10 foot visibility for about an hour or 2. a couple weeks ago a park ranger was crushed by a tree that feel on his car with him in it, glad this wasn't you and glad everyone else is safe.
