WRIGHT BROTHER SHOP MAY BE DEMOLISHED!

Sad, sad news, folks. I have read that the Wright Bros. First bicycle shop, a rental apartment in an old Victorian era building, may go to the wrecking ball. This is terrible and I can think of MANY other eye sores in the area to dispose of.

Little known fact...the Wright Brothers also invented the left hand pedal/left hand thread method for keeping the pedal on. Hope they can save the building.

If not, get the wood from the shop. It must be a designated historical spot.

Very sad to hear, Now days people don't care about history and tear down anything they can. Here in my hometown they tore down the workshop where Elwood Haynes built the first mass produced automobile, invented stainless steel, and many other things that are still vital even today. His mansion is still standing and is the tourist trap of Kokomo. But this guy led an amazing life and had a net worth of 2.85 MILLION in 1925!
