Yea or Nay?

Seller is asking $60 for what I believe is a '59-'61 Schwinn Tornado (or maybe a Skipper) double-bar with modern updates. Pair of 26x2.5 Bontrager Hanks, one of which is red line. I'm thinking the tires alone may be worth the ticket price, but curious what others have to say.

That's a shiny seatpost clamp. Is that a Brooks on top, and alloy wheels? I'm curious about that straight fork too, the paint matches, but it's obviously newer. It looks like a slick little ride.

Snagged it at lunchtime! Rides nice but brakes are not so great. Hub is a Hi-Stop, so nothin' special and I'll likely re-lace it with something better. Saddle is a Mesinger of similar vintage that is blemished, but comfy.

Needs a bath. This is the first double straight-bar I've seen in real life and I couldn't be more pleased with the pre-ratted purchase--it's definitely my style!
