Scored this original 1947 Daisy Red Rider Carbine air rifle with the original box and accessories today from another collector that had owned it for 30 years. He's retired and needed to make some home repairs so he was cutting some stuff lose to free up funds.

It's in amazing condition and he said the family he bought it from 30 years ago had daughters so it was bought and never used. Apparently the Dad was obsessed with keeping original boxes.

The 40s Roy Rogers comic book was a bonus. [emoji4]

All you gotta do now is put on a pink bunny costume and call yourself Ralphie.

Jokes aside, great score. Air rifles are always a good find.

You need a rack for it in the rear window in yer pik urp truck...

I was surprised how long the red riders were made! Wow.
Years ago I converted 20ish to "cork" guns for a circus. Be warned every one was machined offset so the corks never shoot straight!!!

My Red Ryder is newer, but one of the last ones made in the States. When I bought it, it was the only one on the shelf that didn't have Made in China on the box! Had to buy it!
Last summer I installed a large loop lever.

My old air rifles are mostly Crosmans.
