59 Western Flyer Super Deluxe Tank Model (AKA 3-on-the-tree)

Popped the bearing cups out and started sanding the blue paint off.
Idk what this blue is as it sands off relatively easily but the aircraft stripper won't touch it. That's a new one on me.

Also a new one on me... There's a couple random spots of copper braze/weld that I've found under the factory red/silver.
I'll try to grab some pics tomorrow when there is daylight as I'm having issues getting pics right now.

Ok managed to get pics of the braze/weld spots on the frame.
I'm thinking these might have been factory mishaps or something; they were under factory paint.
These are all on the down tube

That is odd... Maybe there were some scrapes in the tube that they repaired...

That's what I was thinking. Its funny because there are distinct file marks on/around those spots where they tried to file them down
