okay it's late... few words some pics!
Time is a big issue today, with a little more sanding I could probably get the Kenda logo off but just went with the Sharpie method :wink:

wow this bike has came a long way.. man its so nice.. theres gonna be a stoked lil man in a few days... gt the a piv of his face on e he see's that would be priceless

Garret's bar's are still in the drying booth :wink: :roll:
So I put some bars on and took it around the block
The thing is so smooth !! Garret's going to love riding it
Tonight after work, take a couple links out of the chain, and get the bars on, and call it DONE! :mrgreen:

That's looks AWESOME! Loving the black tire/wheel combo! The paint looks great, pinstriping really makes it pop! Great job! He's going to go crazy when he sees it!

I'm really happy how it turned out. Can't wait for Christmas Morning, I think I have not been this excited for Christmas in 30 years :lol:
I got it all done ( chainguard wouldn't fit not sure it's a 24" chainguard :roll: )
GREAT NEWS .....dogdart sent me the correct Chainguard in the mail this week just because he is A GREAT GUY!!!! 8) I will put that one on sometime soon.
Rode it some more last night, this thing is to cool!!

Taber and I have already talk about a Birthday bike , Turns 11 in March
He has his Schwinn,
He talks about restoring it sometimes but then always comes back to " Put whitewalls on and call it done" Likes it ratty :wink:
I think a 5 speed muscle bike with big apes is in the future :wink:
A couple quick stairway pics.
We will need to sort out some ergonomic issues with Garret, bars are longer then I thought .
And the cool NOS Troxel seat needs to sit on the post like that or leans back all the way when you sit on it.
If its to tight for Garret, we can swap seats turn the post around to give him a little more room.
In the near future a black and yellow Santa Fe head badge will really make the frontend pop!
