Gee your almost done... At this speed you could build 1 a week ...

Actually since I scored a 16" / 18"? Stingray with nice tires today and I have another girl's frame (Ross Barracuda) and some leftover paint from this one, and a pair of 16" fan spoke wheels from that speed racer bike I got, I am going to be making a "little sister" version of this one too.

One tip I will give you if you remove all the parts from the frame and lay the frame on the floor crank flat and both rear dropouts touching the floor, then take a 2" wide strip of wood and place it on the floor next to the dropout and make your line with a marker it draws the perfect line to follow. If you look mine kinda go back and up at a 45 degree angle. I didn't want to go any closer to the rear speed holes in the frame. It did take some dremel tool finishing work too but wasn't a problem.

I'm actually working on a cantilever framed klunker myself....It's been a few years in the making and I'm STILL not done. Someday I'll finish it.

Phase 6: Drink beer and assess the competition

There are some AWESOME builds this year! The creativity on this site is truly an awe inspiring sight. It amazes me. I will get back to building as soon as I get time and get out to the hobby shop for paint and paint brushes. Then it's Phase 8: pinstripe. As for phase 7 I got a surprise...

Re: Dark Horse II... Phase 5: Dark Pony side project

I love Phase 6!
I think that deserves to be added to the highlight reel.

Actually it's the same as phase 4... only instead of Corona it's Budweiser Black Crown.

Those wheelie bars really get me.. I like em!! This is a really cool build! Can't go wrong with the Bud Black Crown, smooth tasting stuff right there! Enjoying the assessment of the competition with a cold one - perfect!

I really liked this pic! On a side note, it was this in pic you posted that I first saw my parts pile pic made the home page!
