No offense. BUT, doesn't adding clear coat kinda ruin the patina of the bike? Never seen a rat rod with clear coat before. Just my 2 cents.

very nice indeed. the red tires thing is starting to grow on me i must admitt especially with the black frame. i am in the middle of a personal struggle to figure out what color scheme i want with my 62 jc higgins cruiser. yellow with black fenders now, but was going to go all black with black fenders and have white wall tires. stuck between white, red or black rims. ahhhh!

I had that same exact bike, but with all the correct parts. Sadly it had a layer of house paint over everything and I lost most of the graphics during the clean up. Someone told me it was a 48 or 49, not sure though.
