The weather here in Austin has bee simply atrocious. I mean, it was a cool 77 degrees today and sunny. The audacity.

I thought I had gotten the lockring welded. I thought this until I parked in a downtown parking lot, unhooked the bike from the trunk rack on my car and took it for a cusory spin around the parking lot; at which point the lockring not only broke loose, but broke the threads as well. Time for a track hub.
