Is this gonna be done in time for the Dunedin/Honeymoon Island ride on he 8th???
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, was looking forward to taking the Worksman RS but I can't ride anything for a little while... well a couple weeks any way.:(

Love your sig!

:113:

There are a handful of us in the area. I am in south Tampa just across the Gandy. Creep is up in Clearwater. He is a really nice guy who has a lot of parts should you be looking for something specific.

Oh cool! Thank you! I was wondering if there were any shows around?

No.... :( just too much to do and I don't wanna rush it. I do have a photo shoot scheduled for Nov so it will be done before the end of this month.

I'm going with the 4 1/2 now, maybe even bigger.
Doing some test panels to see how I want to lay the "Fotina"
I think I'm going to go with spraying both colors and wet sanding until it comes through, like this:

This is just sprayed on

Here is a v-cover I did to hang in my garage.

Tonight I will try and get the new crank holder (whatever it's called) moved to the front and finish grinding down the welds. I'll now be able to use a bigger crank if needed.

Got some real work done last night! So stoked how it's turning out!!!
Just need to finish up the middle plate for the logo, then paint time. Can't wait!

For being my first bike build ever, I'm really happy with it!
Thanks for looking!

Thank you man.... I love it! I was really concerned that I won't be able to make it the way I could see it in my head. Well, It's exactly what I see in my head. Kinda makes me feel like I can do anything I put my mind too. :dance2::cool2:

Yes my first build. I've done cars and I do a lot of yard art and metal art, but nothing like this before. I've always wanted to build a bobber, but don't have the funds to do it. This seemed like a cheap thing to build and I could still be creative. I'm self taught in everything I do so this made me nervous, trying to be as dead on with everything. It's a nice self accomplishment to see it come together. :)

First build? Dude, this level of craftsmanship would be impressive if it were your 50th build! Well done!

Yeh that's the way.

I'm a bit the same, without talking myself up too much, but have done a lot of "creative" stuff over the years.
Love timber work and using big rocks etc for landscaping projects.
(I work for myself as a landscape gardener BTW)

Have only recently got myself a decent MIG welder and am also making some metal art which I'm selling at the local markets (might start a thread on that later).
Hacked away with a cheap stick welder for years and got pretty good at it in the end but it was very frustrating at times.

As a kid I always wanted to build bikes like this and the ones I'm working on currently but never had the tools or workspace.
So kinda living the childhood dreams now, at 40 haha.

I do have a good eye for looking at a pile of scrap and visualising what could be made from it, and people always say "what are you gonna do with THAT?" When they see me dragging something home from the scrap yard.
;)

My biggest problem is, once I get an idea in my head I have to see if it works.
Which leads to a lot of "almost finished" projects....

I've also built a number of RC cars from scrap, chainsaw motors and angle grinder parts.

I just love tinkering with stuff in general
:)

looking rad man!!! i really like the rim colours, makes the big somehow "more special". can you post some of your work you did on cars, please?

Thanks

Love what you did with the old crank housing. Mount a kick stand there and you would not think twice about what it use to be.

Thank you! I didn't even think of that and I just picked one up too lol.

Sure, I think I have some pics....

The color of the wheels it was really brought me to building the Rat rod style bike. The paint I have is just about 100% dead on to the wheels!
