Looking good, yeah the extenders would be an issue but thats an awesome Idea imma use it too lol, cut a longer piece and make two holes one one side and put two nuts and bolts, that wat it wouoldn't move because the two bolts

In theory the way I have them tightened on there the extensions shouldn't move. I have to actually get on the bike and ride and get some momentum going to see how it does though. Hsean the only advice I can offer about this method is to cut longer pieces than I did. That way you can add two holes on one end for two bolts. It's a better idea than mine but unfortunately I measured once then cut then realized that I should have double checked. I know I can fix it but I want to see how it goes when all the snow is gone and I can get out on it.

No worries on them moving... When you look at the picture you can see that the bolts to the brake shoes stick out far enough to catch the frame. they can only go so far and then they have to stop. I only noticed it today when I was making adjustments. So I moved them so that they do rest on the frame and now I have no worries... other than the brakes themselves not working like they are supposed to... I need new cable.

I adjusted the fenders yesterday so they look better. I had to get creative and I think I did okay. The front fender bracket needs a light to hide it... I just need to find a light.

A light would look cool on the front. But you know what, that was a easy but smart way of moving those fenders simple is the best way at times. and Yeah I agree paint the brackets red and nobody will notice that they were an add on unless they are really looking over the bike closely. By the way have you found that opener you wanted? If not I think I can get one for you fairly cheap. I just have to see if my friends wife has one at her store yet. Let me know either way.

There is a store here that will have one for me eventually. They do a large order of Coke stuff in April. I keep checking to see if they have it in before that but I haven't been in awhile. I can order one fairly cheap from the Coke website if it really comes down to it. Thanks though. If for whatever reason I don't find one I'll shoot you a pm and let you know.

Bike is finished for now. I have pics in the Gallery section. I do however want to continue this thread for the lights I'm going to add to the Coke bike and show everyone how I'm doing them.
Here is how it starts. An old Speedo that is quite broken.

I removed the back and rounded off a reflector.

I got it to fit and plan on using a LED flashlight or something for the guts to this. I have it painted at the moment with it's first coat of red.

Speedometer housing turned into a light? Brilliant absolutely brilliant.

Thanks :D I figure that there are probably lots of guys on here that have broken speedometers that make great light housings.

Here's a few pics of the lights finished and mounted.
