Then I went to consult with da fishes to see what they thought. They just swam by and didn't say anything, cuz fish don't talk (except for Mr. Limpet)

Broke out the chrome foil tape to mock the guard in place. I am very happy with the result!

I've noticed quite a few bandages this build off. I'm really not the safest worker with tools, but here is my OSHA moment of the day. Get yourself some basic work gloves. I've been using these Harbor Freight ones for years. They are lightweight enough to still work with piece, but still provide some level of finger protection from the tools, heat, and sharp edges. I have heavier ones that I wear when doing rough cutting or longer grinding when I want more protection from mishaps or the heat of the item.
Finally, we're on the board.

I think the chainguard mod shows off the Lawless goodies better and even mimics the redline cranks a little.

Nice to see you took my advice and cut out that chunk .
Bike is looking deadly .
So many cool parts .
Thanks man! I couldn't remember who suggested it. That is the beauty of the build off. We feed each other with ideas and feed off of each other too. Killer idea man. THANKS!

I know that I want to add some red accents on the bike to make it less monochromatic. I even toyed with the idea of painting the guard with Metalcast Red, but I think the better choice for the guard is to leave the sweet chrome alone and put red in the louvers. I'll do it better than this, but here is some red mylar paper I had around.

I was happy with result and there is no turning back now anyway.
Switched the Dremel bit and ground down to the natural edge break of the guard.

NOW you mention this?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Your chainguard is way cool. Good work on following the karma of the thing. As far as chrome rusting I own a beautiful cruiser bar proudly make here in America by S and M and chromed somewhere in the LA region and it has small specks of rust cropping up. This is after several years of continuous riding. The bike lives indoors and I really don't ride in the rain. I think chrome rusting is more a global problem.

Dig it ; the red .. crank arms, chain ,& sprocket change are just right . :cool2:

That's not HEXtreme brother. I was making a comment regarding what I did with Flexy back in BO7. That pic is Flexy not HEXy. :D
