Fun......

Tear down.

Little bit of stretch and rake.

-I Was actually debating a 26” wheel or even a 27” wheel on the front. The fork I believe is off of a Varsity.

I’d prefer to just use the wheels and tires I have to minimize cost, but I’m thinking a 26” or 27” wheel could look sort of cool..... or super DUMB, in which case.... may be better for this build? lol

She’s naked as a j-bird!!!!

Also debating on what to do:

My original plan was to put bright shiny white walls on this with copper/orange duplicolor metalcast rims going on the bike.

Im a bit concerned the whitewalls, orange rims and green fork will look nutty.

It could be cool, not sure; @Reallybigtim throws parts together and it looks super cool.... when I do it, it looks dorky!!!!

I've been fooling with denim, haven't attempted leather yet. What tools and techniques are you using?
Thank Matti!

The leather is a piece of cake!

I bought an old leather coat off of some lady on Craigslist for like, $20.

I used it (and the patterned back shoulder part) on my Sears freightliner or something.

All I use is nice crafting scissors to cut the leather and loc-tite spray adhesive to apply to the seat.

- the loc-tite is permanent, so, I layout and pre-mark everything before I do the application. Once the leather is applied, if you need to move it, you can, but that piece of leather will be trashed getting it off and could leave behind residue on the sticky surface.

So, it’s super easy to work with, BUT the leather (or this coat, maybe) is super thin, so, when applied it will pretty much reveal whatever is underneath it!
