Thanks everyone, I have some left over material so I may give it another go at a later date. I didn't warm up the vinyl first but it's actually pretty stretchy and I was able to pull out most of the imperfections as I stapled it down. Used 3m super 77 spray adhesive to glue it onto the foam.

Finished sanding the stem to 2000 grit and hand polished it with some mothers mag and aluminum polish tonight. It came out pretty good. I'd like to get an actual polisher with proper wheels and compounds eventually to get better results but this will work for now.

I built a stand for the Electra tonight, I am going to be putting the bike in a car show called the World Of Wheels in February and need a way for it to stand up since I ditched the kickstand for a cleaner look. I used some scrap metal and wrenches from work and welded up a lil stand. This is the first time I've welded in like 5 years and I don't have much experience either. Pretty happy with the results!

Lovely bike! My daily rider is a Ghostrider as well! I should take a new photo by the way, since it got a few upgrades for the coming winter season, including a Nuvinci transmission.

One thing to keep in mind with the stainless bolts and aluminium parts is that they start a galvanic reaction and over time degrade. It is basically not recommended to use stainless bolts with alu alloy because they practically weld together after some time and you will have difficulty to take them out. Some grease helps a little, but does not fix the issue completely only winning you some time.
What kind of headlight is that? I recognize the brackets. I am working on a Straight 8. Thanks.

That's a standard headlight from aliexpress, rebuilt inside to run a 4v 3w LED instead of a stock 12v halogen. Feel free to ask me anything, good luck with your build ;)
That's the exact size and style light I am looking for. Is there a how to somewhere on the rewire job?
