55 Rollfast

Picked this bike up last month in pretty rough condition but was able to tear it all down and put it together with a nice new pair of double wall coaster wheels with Kenda tires, new stem and bars. Swapped over to a snowflake sprocket and also was able to paint over the cool original white frame paint design. I actually made the fork rigid because the spring was to soft. Bike rides awesome and I really like it.

That appears to be a Monark fork...pics are grainy, but looks Monark.

Nevermind. Schwinn springer. Looks like a Monark spring mount though, that could be just the pic.

Rollfast had a springer that was similar to Schwinn. The biggest difference is around the crown.

I saw the training wheels on the bike and wondered why, then I saw they had a place for the rear riders feet.

Thanks @Wildcat ! That's a first for me. Looks like someone put a disassembled Schwinn and a Monark knee-action springer in a box and assembled a hybrid of both!

From what I was told, the lady I bought it from said it was her granddad’s that bought it new and it appeared to be all original, what was left. Missing the tank and chain guard.
