They are cool bars (test mockup on previous page), but I think I am already hooked on my big cruiser bars for now on this build.

Those are pretty sick. Not sure they are right for this one, but sweet none the less

Yeah, I've always wanted a pair since Chad first made them a few years ago. But I just wasn't feeling them on this build.

I like those a lot on there, a LOT!πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I'll take a closer look with them. It may be the position and comfort that is knocking them for me. They are definitely lower than the big cruisers but they may draw back a little farther. They are also a little bit narrower. I may try a different stem that gives them some rise up and forward and then think some more.

There was another guy about the same time as rat fink, and all you saw of him was a racing helmet with big eyes, teeth, arms and a stick shift. I think he was called Gasser.

Anyhow I was thinking if you had two bats, that a doubleheader with rat fink & gasser could look pretty cool.

Is it my imagination or did the rust on those fork tubes double in one week?

Are those just raw or have you been decorating them?

I am seriously digging the handlebars.
That’s our Savannah salt air, rust grows in front of your eyes

It's so humid in Savannah that even raw steel sweats.

Mr Gasser was another one of Big Daddy's monsters. You can even still get the model of it.

I've been busy trying to retrofit a new dishwasher with our cabinet panel and had to wait on some stain and adhesive to dry, so I decided to take Uncle Stretch out for a ride with the ChopShop cruiser bars. I didn't have a longer or raised stem for 7/8" bars, so I stuck with the GT piston stem. Slapped some of Ian's ball end grips on and hit the road this afternoon.

Decided to take a few pics of the bike and bars at the Noble-Hardee Mansion first.

Here is one of the squares we talked about that are every couple of blocks in our Historic District. This one is just two squares over from our house.

Had to get a shot of this traffic jam of SavannahSlowRides

It was pretty hot and humid, so when I saw the Italian Ice stand open on another square, I had to take a break and chill

Then I got a couple of "cockpit" riding pics along Jones Street and then Abercorn approaching Lafayette Square and the twin spires (above the trees) of the Cathedral that we were married in 25 years ago
