Been trying to find this rule spelled out clearly, but can't find it... Interested as I need to get as much done as possible before we hit the depths of winter here, I know I will lose about 4 weeks in the middle...

Luke.

Now if you lived in sunny Queensland what is winter? Mind you saying that if it gets to 23 Celsius here I think it is to cold to do work

If it can rust let it

I am also CERTAIN that Carlton's build will be remarkable once more. BUT, with all due respect, I have a feeling that the skills and builds displayed by 200 other people over the next three months will have a hand in the outcome of BONINE.

Absolutely agreed, and that includes my own earth-friendly build (no ground will be broken during the course of my upcoming build). But since 1st place doesn't get ya much, I figured I'd just blow a kiss to Remix as consolation. Unfortunately, 2nd place gets ya even less than that.

I've decided to build my 36' CWC. I will also be creating a tandem bucker at the same time but not for BONINE, just in a build thread... A classic Rat and a crazy parade bike.

We will top out in single digits in the middle, which I could work around, but the constant rain is the big issue...

A subforum on what we plan to wear while working on our builds should also be started, followed near the end with a sub subforum on what we plan to wear while riding. Let's call those "Dressed Boninely" and "Rollin' Bonine Style", respectively.
I will offer this for "Dressed Boninely":

Same as this but now I rock Brown overalls instead of safety orange, just ordered my new Australian style bike building workboots:

I think we should all wait until we hear the starter gun go off!
Good idea, should be fair for all. I will wait till it officially starts rather than pushing the limits of the rules... ;)

I hope so too Jats! That was crazy with the fires last year! Made for great photos though...

Luke.

Is that photo proof of a jail break in progress or were you on a work-release detail?
I earned my freedom with that bike...
That is the main reason I wear brown overalls now...

Luke.

Vote for CeeBee.
