Nice GP, I have one like that in green. It appears to be a '76. What to do with it? Fix and ride, mine is my daily commuter.

Picked up another one yesterday.............. 1974 Super Course Mk II. First pic is in "as found" condition. Second pic is after a complete tear down, clean and re-grease. More work to be done come winter, I just wanted to ride it this summer yet so the full polish and buff will have to wait...

Wow, I think I am the only one looking at this thread. Time for another bump. Not a Raleigh but it is English........... Got this as part payment for another bike, Sturmey 3 speed needs parts so I built it up as a 5 speed. Still working on it but I thought I would post some pics as of today.

    Ridin': Lots of Water

Re: Ridin': Memorial Day Soggy Group Ride No problem, great company and great customer service. Their wool jersey's are awesome. I will try to shorten the story but, I was driving across MN and needed a wool jersey due to some miss handling of the one I had and I had contacted a shop in...

    Parts bikes: Whole or Disassembled?

I usually part them out, takes up less space if I won't be using the frame. If I may use the frame I leave them whole. Parting bikes is always a job left for "well, I have nothing else to work on..." or "dang, I need some room around here.." days.

Removing 3 piece crank without a removal tool

For a case like this; Then do this; Please purchase the tool, much less chance of damaging things. Okay, now that I said that, good thinking. I would not do that very often but if you have no other choice and need to get it out now, it looks like a good alternative.

Picked up a TRUE "RRB" bike this weekend...

I have those bars on some of my bikes as well...............I would leave them. They may not be ergo but they ride nice.

WOW!!!! I haven't had this much fun in a long time! UPDATED!

Thanks, I love the look of it. The center bar has been re-welded poorly and there is a dent in the down tube so it will most likely end up as a RAT. Still be cool though and it was dirt cheap. I need to take new pics of the Speedster, it has new shoes, fenders removed, and the seat is farther...

You stole that bike for $75. Sweet find, to bad it is to small for you. Don't know the brand but the frame looks like a quality build and 600 is nice stuff. I have some 600 stuff on a few of my old roadie's and really like it.
