I got mine in January....worth the big bucks! Love it. Had it out today. SE OM Flyers are made in China. The Skull Skates bike would be next if I had the extra cash. This bike will have to do for now. Is it really so expensive for something that hold its value and will likely still be...
Sad news...I asked him some questions on a couple of occasions....never figured he would answer, but he did. I did some casual searches and its amazing how many in the cycling community knew this guy and admired him. He was an American Cycling Icon - up there with the likes of Joe Breeze...
Yeah...so many colours to choose from...its hard. He still has the baby blue colour I think. I also liked raw. The UT orange is in my own opinion nicer than the fluorecent orange.
There is a pic of the non-looptail version on BMX museum. Nice. I love the looptail. My main reason for buying the bike. There is something sexy about that rear-end - like a woman whose got a great .... I agree about Greg. Great businessman. He gave me a couple of T's as well. If I ever...
I got the standard package but took the Redline proline cranks and a flite chainring instead of the 1 pce. crank. The profile upgrade would have been nice but the set up I got is perfect. I've ridden it around and its sweet. I would suggest that if you plan to sit and cruise on road or off...
I had to have one...I've been lusting over this design for the last 5 years since I got a postcard. I even sold my Spectrum Pursuit Bike to get it.
This is by far, the hottest looking bike I have ever had. Cool ride. You be the judge.
The Texas Cruzer isn't quite a rat but its close - OM...
I was trying to remove a rusted fender bolt - the lower one that screws into the chainstay bridge on my dyno cruiser. The bolt sheared off at the head. How do I remove the shaft? Drill it out?
I don't want to torch it for fear of cooking the paint.
HELP!!!!
Ok...Here are some pics of the old Dyno - far as I can tell from the date stamp on the front hub is its a Circa 94. But that's a guess. The pics are of the frame as I pulled it out of the box (Ebay item). Fender struts are rusted and so are the front fork legs - Paint is pretty good as you...
I will post some pics....the bike is a Glide Deluxe
I have a feeling that the 3 speed was added later on because I'm not aware of the Glide Deluxes having a 3 speed. The frame is nice though...I give the paint condition a 9/10.
I consider the project in total to be my Jeckle and Hyde...
