The theme for Bike Night was "Red" so I took J.C. Piggins to join around 200 folks for a cruise. Until the clouds let loose. Had to much fun chatting with friends to take pics so here's one from last time Mr. Piggins & I met up with friends.🤓

Safely made it down to Arlington, Texas today with my favorite bike, Shoestring. I swapped out the seat for better riding comfort, because I plan to put some miles on this bike over the next week! I took it out for a little test run this evening to try out the different seat, and the temperature out here is just right for morning and evening rides.

A wellness session on the Commencal while running errands. I arrived as the unpredictable obstacles were carted off in SUV's & had the place to myself.:dance2:

I love how the chain looks like it has gun bluing but needs a clean & lube which led to my next adventure. But that's a different story. Let's just say it was a great day and can't wait until Monday...🙂

1989 Schwinn Prelude in red white & blue. Red Schwinn bike computer that displays daily distance to 3 decimal points. Kinda crazy to watch those numbers turn over so fast. Red & Blue cages. White SPD pedals. Red tires. Looking pretty good and a nice ride. 44 miles 88 degrees. Decided to strap on a spare tire just in case. I installed some very light weight race tires last time out. They were NOS , emphasis on OLD. Kevlar belted, boxed up for many years. There was a spot at one of the folds that looked suspicious.

Got my first real ride in today down in Arlington, Texas. I nearly went 12 miles today on old Shoestring. I probably should've started off going only half as far, as I hadn't ridden in a while, and especially not this far in a long while, but the weather was nice out this morning and I wanted to take full advantage of it. I got a few compliments on the bike, which was super cool, and I even shot a ride video on my GoPro. I'll try to edit and share that when I'm back home in Oklahoma.

Took a shorter ride this morning. In fact, I spent more than half my time outside sitting in one of the public lawn chairs enjoying a nice morning breeze, soaking in the sights and sounds of nature, and the occasional plane taking off from DFW. Still, I got more than 5 miles in today, and that's good enough for me.

Now that the temperature is warming up, it's time to relax inside with these 2 fellas while sketching and binge-watching Battlebots.

AH1 Cobra
Yep, my dad had a buddy that was a CWO3 that flew one in Nam, stayed in as a trainer until the mid-80's. He would send me pics of his gunship it in action when I was a lad.

A friend gave me 2 tickets to see Seinfeld so I took my 14 year old daughter on Saturday night. She’s a happy kid and I have never heard her laugh so much and so hard.

Teenage Dirtbag loving it at the top end of town.
