I'm entering the STBO. I really need to put the new tires on and see what works and doesn't, and see if it will fit my rider. Is it OK to do that now?
I think trying out tires is probably ok. You can always take them back off and start over if need be.

2 per class sounds like fun! Ha! I struggled to do 2 builds this last time. I think I'm probably going to do a muscle bike and hopefully one step thru.

Pondo, where do you get all these pics? I need to find a good database of step through and standard pics...and the modified ones. For ideas. This white one is what angels ride in heaven.

I found most of these images on various ratbike and klunker threads on the CABE, Facebook groups and google images. The build-off archive here on RRBs is very good for inspiration too. Also look for threads that start with “show us your…”. Good luck and have fun!
