I know, that does seem pretty obvious, but while stripping the bike the thought of a single speed cruiser seemed to fit the bike better. (Plus I'm on vacation and need a little project.)

It is a coaster brake. It'll take me a little while to learn what to properly call the dohickeys and whatknauts.
