Scored these two leather saddles for cheap. Papilionare I think looking at the logo. For 1/8 of the price of a new Brooks, I'll give them a go. Sprung version shown with the Brooks Flyer for comparison.

Got the new front wheel built up, Fitted and brakes dialed in. Dura-Ace hub, stainless spokes and polished Araya 26x1.75 rim

I really like the idea of both. Think both options would suit the build. But, I am leaning towards the show rod idea ever so slightly.

Thanks dude. I will cut a little off the bottom of that rear fender for some ground clearance. But not too much trimming.

It's not the most practical place for it! To be honest, I'll likely never use the lower holder, one bottle will be plenty for where I plan to ride it.

Thinking it needs some raked out forks. Grabbed a pair from the stash Trimmed off the brake bosses. And arched the brake bridge area. A tweek in the pipe bender Looking better

The original chain guard was boring, so I cut up the gold one and made one out of two.

Quick coat of black over the frame, and black wall tires. Not set on final colours yet, but thinking old and worn look

Made some changes again. Blue Anno bars, black fork and back down to 26". Rides awesome. Never thought I'd have so much fun with a coaster brake build. It's a hoot to hoon around on.

I ended up going for the three speed shimano as It was in stock. Added a short stub of old handlebar, under the seat to hold the shifter. The red rims and white walls add some Hot Rod flavour to the matt black frame.

Found a pulley in my parts stash, and Got the front derailleur tuned in. Successful first test ride. Still on the place holder wheelset for now, and the seat is Horrible! Hahaha

Got the cable housings sorted. Splatter paint, then clear heat shrink. Suits the look, and doesn't take away from the frame. Thanks for the suggestion @Captain Awesome Now I just need to find a pulley wheel for the front derailleur. Frame has the attachment point already👌
