Started with 2 huffy's chopped the rear sections of both bikes off and used one to stretch the other one a few inches. I decided to use both of the built on racks to make the seat one for the base and half the other for a back rest I had a 1" Harley handle bar I cut 3" out of the center to bring...

What I started with a 58 ish Firestone 500 in a pile of parts with a few missing pieces. found some fenders that matched the patina better and added some baskets. I cleaned the frame up with some WD40 and steel wool and then a couple coats of boiled linseed oil and acetone mix. I had to...

Finally no raining here after work today so I figured out how much I needed to clear the fender with the kickstand. I needed 16 1/4" . Took the pieces of tubing I cut slid onto the halves of the stand. Measured both sides to get the needed 16 1/4. Lined the ends up welded the sleeves up.Not...

I wasn't liking how it seemed like the bike wants to fall over with the kickstand. So I picked up this bike stand at the flea market not sure what size it was for but for $2 it was worth the risk. Until I got home and saw 24 stamped on it. So I grabbed the grinder with the cutting wheel and went...

Went for a test ride with the grandson hoping it would help seat the tires. I don't feel anything riding so I'm just going to roll with it. I'm wondering if it's from having them hanging up? Grandson wanted to get his ride in a pic too. Might see if I have a little bit bigger cog for the rear...

Riding it in the up position looks like you are riding a Penny farthington with a small wheel on the front.

Thanks guys. Not much done yesterday but I did get the handle bar cut down. With the 3 inches I cut out of the middle to bring the knurling together and 2 inches I cut off the ends yesterday makes 7" total cut down. I'm happy with the results will get a better pic when I finish putting it...

I think it is because of the bead being small compared to other tires I have. Fooled around with them yesterday I think I got them good enough going to ride it around the neighborhood today and see how they do. I can't return them because I got them used.

It's kind of like the tires are off center l checked the rims and they are to see if off but are fine.
