    Most laughable CL response ever

I would be inclined to agree. Someone put quite a bit of time into this and I certainly needed the laugh after the emotional past few days.

    Most laughable CL response ever

I have my '37 Colson listed locally on craigslist and got this email tonight. I don't know if they are trying to make me laugh or scam me some how but I just had to share.

Re: Rare Bird- '37 BSA Tandem Back in town after the family business has been dealt with. I will continue where I left off last Friday tomorrow. One lesson I had forgotten before I began and the bike was kind enough to remind me of- When using a wire brush on the grinder to remove 75 year old...

UCB Hub Project- Bendix Original Rebuild

It isn't exactly the same, but pay attention to how the parts come out and their orientation. It should be close enough to figure out. Most newer coaster brake hubs- Suntour, Shimano, Hi-Stop, etc use a design based closely on the Bendix Red Band family.

Rare Bird- '37 BSA Tandem- Done!

Re: Rare Bird- '37 BSA Tandem The front has an ecliptic mount to allow to tightening of the front chain. The badge is actually a decal, same as was originally used. I ordered doubles of all the decals because I knew I would be doing it over eventually.

Re: Rare Bird- '37 BSA Tandem Been up since 4pm yesterday. My mom called this morning to tell me that my grandmother had passed on peacefully in her sleep over night last night. UCB Hub Project- Bendix Original Rebuild

I have never had a mag with a Bendix to play with, but I am willing to bet they are the same or at least similar enough to figure out. What does your brake arm say? I have a NOS rebuild kit for the Bendix 76 and 86 series hubs. It contains everything except the brake arm and the hub shell. I...

Rare Bird- '37 BSA Tandem- Done!

Rare Bird- '37 BSA Tandem- Please take yourto jump in or not, but here goes. I have nothing new to build so I decided to give my tandem a facelift. It is one of two known examples of this bike on this side of the pond. Rarity means little to me so it is fair game. I haven't built a Klunker yet...

4th Annual Midwest Bicycle Swapmeet 4/21/13

Finishing the truck made me late and I lost my usual spot. I had a great time even though I had to make myself be a seller and not a buyer. Looked like most people were getting great deals. I had a great time and sold most of what I took out so momma was happy too! Thanks for another great year...
