I think you got a LOT done! Whenever I take on a project, I always figure how long I think it will take, how much I think it will cost, then multiply both by 2!

Day 3 Update:

I missed my goal. The cutting and grinding took much longer that I had hoped. I did get the rear squared up and the rear bags mounted.

I am digging the new stance!

I also got the front left bag installed.

Back to work tonight so I will only have a couple hours in the mornings to work on it. Looks like it will be a couple more days.

Frustrating day. I got the last bag mounted under the front right and bolted it all back together. I pulled the jack stands from all 4 corners to see how she sat. It looked good, but I wanted to see if it was able to drive. I fired her up and started to pull down the driveway. Then the frame hi-centered and before I could back up she died and I couldn't restart. After checking I found that I wasn't getting gas to the carb. Now I gotta figure that problem out.

My 3 day suspension upgrade ended up taking 10 days and 53 man-hours but it is done.

Thanks! It depends on where I have the pressure set. It ranges from spongy to super stiff. Rides really nice with 75psi up front and 100psi out back.

With all this testing going on, that license plate & back bumper will end up about half as tall as they are now! Reminds me of my dad asking me when I was 16, "I wonder why that right rear tire is wearing faster than the others". :lol: 8) :mrgreen:

A little extra cash this week means I can finally get the truck pin striped. Before I do that I wanted to do a little more paint work. When I could not find any satin clear in a rattle can I decided to go ahead and lay down my metallic blue scallops.

As I was removing the masking I inadvertently pulled some of the paint with it. :x

I was so mad I didn't take any pics before I started sanding it down. I have only done the passenger side so far because I gotta decide if I want to just paint it black again, mask and repaint the scallops, or sand the rest of the truck and take it in a patina direction.

I am really kinda digging the faded scallops.

I will need to sand out the swirls if I go that direction.

Got a hold of Shane Z and he hooked me up. I got the hood and tailgate done this evening. Might have him do some more down the road.

I lost the light before I got a good pic of the hood so ya gotta wait until tomorrow morning to see that.

I also got the scallop on the driver side painted and I decided to go with the faux-tina over the whole truck. Tomorrow I will sand the scallop and the rest of the truck down with some 400 grit wet and follow with some 1000 grit wet to eliminate the swirls.
