I say go for it! It's not like we are competing for a million dollar prize... although some seem to be that serious. Build, create, HAVE FUN!

(MBBO #4 Class 2) Mustang Phatty -(FINAL MOCK UP PHOTOS)-

That's an idea I haven't thought of... hm. This is going to be kind of tricky because the BB on the Schwinn has to be used to clear the tire. I've learned to just start and let the thing take shape on its own. Your idea is a good one. I really don't have a problem butchering the frame to make...

(MBBO #4 Class 2) Mustang Phatty -(FINAL MOCK UP PHOTOS)-

This is my starting point. I went to my LUBS a couple of months ago on a whim and came home with this Hawthorn two piece adult 20" bike and parts, with the exception of the nanner and front rack. Two hours later I was ridding around with a huge grin on my face. Just last week I had an idea...

    Spaceliner Stewart

I got my springer fork delivered yesterday. Here's the mockup with the fork and dropout extensions on. These Spaceliner frames are perfect for a stretch job!!

    Spaceliner Stewart

Fresh build, 1964 Spaceliner. I picked this up last summer. This is how I got him... First mockup... This is inspired by Pick's green one. I like the 24" rear wheel and phat tire on the back. The tire is a 24"x3" Duro Fireball. Like Pick's, it wont fit in the frame. I was planning on just...

Backing out...(MBBO Class 1) Norbert.... 1961 Hercules Hawthorn

I haven't done anything with bike since October. Blown motor in old truck, getting a new truck, crazy work, changing jobs... yada yada yada! Maybe I could re-enter this frame in another build? Peace out! Mike

Dual independent springer concept. Am I Gonna Die?

This looks similar, minus the hoop in back. I'm liking the disc break set up on this one! I've decided to abandon the idea of using the shocks I have now. After talking to a very experienced bike mechanic, he agreed and confirmed that these assemblies would most likely be too stiff with...

    (MBBO Class 1) Orange Enigma

That thing turned out SAWEEET! Great job Joe! :113: Mike

Dual independent springer concept. Am I Gonna Die?

Hmmm, you're right! Like the Amen Savior frames? I plan on using thick plate, welding them together for drilling and making the holes tight, maybe even bushing them.

Dual independent springer concept. Am I Gonna Die?

lol, 808. Yea, I'm not too concerned about dying. If I was, I suppose I could wear my helmet. But I can't lick the windows with it on... :blackeye:

Backing out...(MBBO Class 1) Norbert.... 1961 Hercules Hawthorn

Here's a pic of the mock up for the springer conversion. I also posted in the "how to" forum. Any input is appreciated! I have some concerns about the rebound on these spring assemblies...
