    20" Warrior??

The SE stamp is a dead giveaway for a Snyder frame, looks to be the later 60s-early 70s style dropouts. Their main badge was Rollfast, so your frame was similar to a Rollfast Skoot. -Adam

Need help dating a President by Scheuer...

President was one of the import brands, made by the Steyr/Daimler/Puch collective in Europe. Generally dating from the late 50s to the early 70s. Not much info available besides that. Yours may have originally looked like my early 60s Royce Union. -Adam

    a bike's soul

I got a pair of old pedals off ebay, that had bad mojo! There was a creepy vibe in the basement where they were, and both my wife and I tripped and almost fell down the stairs a few times. She's attuned to spiritual things, and spent a few hours tracking down the source. Once she figured it out...

    Featherweight Rollfast frame

The earliest Snyder built Firestones are in a 1959 ad, shown in one og the Evolution of the bike books. I have a chrome framed ladies' bike, which generally arrived in 61. Also have a '63 Ward's catalog, which lists 'new styling' on their bikes, and the angular chain guard seen on the red 70s...

    Vintage-Sized Tubular Tires?

Most builders just use 700C rims, some even resemble the profile of the wood/clad rims. -Adam

Tank found at Yardsale/ID Help please

Actually, very few were made by them, in the mid - late 50s. Sears' main supplier for bikes since 1938 was Murray. In 1956, they were busy building a new factory, and Sears turned to others to fill their orders. Many were sourced from NYC import co. Stelber, who also sold bikes with their own...

    Rollfast late 40s?

I'll add that the 'H''s in the chain ring stand for DP Harris Hardware co, who made ball bearings and skates, and owned the Rollfast brand. As said above, the bikes were all made by the HP Snyder Co., who also made a lot of Hawthornes. -Adam

    Road master? Hawthorn?

That's a prewar frame, note the drop stand ears on the rear dropouts. The chain ring is also cwc, but I believe a postwar part. Most prewar RM's have the paisley/ tear drop chain ring. -Adam

    1952 Schwinn wasp, hornet ??

Black and red were typical Wasp colors. I believe 52 was the last year for serials on the BB. And they did repeat numbers a few times in the 50s. If it had the original crank, some were tear stamped. You can browse through Schwinn brochures on angelfire/tr findley, and see what models were...

    Cleveland welding bike?

With the remnants of the "Masterweld" decal on the seat tube. This is the later version, with 'amf' in the center, replacing the earlier muscle man. -Adam

    Help with year and model

Your Hiawatha was built by the Cleveland Welding Co, makers of the Road Master. Early 50s. The bottom bracket (BB) where the crank mounts will gave the serial #. To the right of that should be a date code, 48-9ish being 'Cw', 50-1 being 'ACw', and 52-4 having a two digit year code, such as '52...

    trailer vision

Cool! I've seen some 60s campers around here that would be good for that. Of course first, I'd need a vehicle stout enough to tow one! -Adam

    A Pug-Nosed Tow Truck

Ahh, the skinny little brake shoes they used back then!! -Adam

Can only make out some letters --

Evans bought Colson in the early 50s. This one is probably 58-61ish. They stopped building bikes in 62. The deluxe bikes had a higher #, so your Viscount 700 is just a notch below the top 800 line. -Adam

Tell me your JB Weld stories?

I fixed a cordless drill that got dropped, with JB! Used some fiberglass mesh tape for drywall as reinforcement. Held until I retired it! -Adam
