tick tock, haha for real. actually been doin some work on it. found a donor bike for the crankset. the sprocket was too large, so i cut it off and made it a spider. i ended up using the serviceable bearing bracket kit, but will change it out when i figure out what to use. so all that went...

i have seen this frame type, at least, known as a "DX", curved lower upper bar vs. "straightbar" which has straight lower bar. nice bike!

got it disassembled, not sure about paint yet, just had to get rid of the white for now. have some of the parts already, planned to use this crankset, but i want to find one with longer arms, and use a bracket with sealed bearings eventually. aforementioned wheelset, and the tires that came...

fwiw, read this thread and went to straighten a couple bents i had. first one, vise and crank arm method worked great. second one broke the pedal shaft as i pulled on it, just my experience... no complaints, pedal was useless as is, and i did crash pretty hard to bend it, no doubt weakening it...

ive had this straightbar hangin in the garage for probly 10 years. no plan for it until recently i acquired a very nice hd wheelset from oddjob, thanks Lee! it then became clear that i must build a klunker, always admired them, never had one. can't wait to hit the local trails and take it...

i'm guessing he either meant odd or old guys, maybe both :crazy:. a girls sprocket is smaller, giving a lower gearing = easier to pedal.

you ideally want a front sprocket to match the rear cog

I have an endure 7, came with the owner's manual. i'll see if I can find it when I get home. I believe member mikey bikey (I think) has a few of these. when I posted mine, he pm'd with an offer to buy, and said he collected them. he might be a souce of info. btw, nice bike!
