I just had to chime in - awesome build! I wish I didn't already have too many bikes and projects as is, as that is a great deal for sure. just curious, how do you like the cambium? I recently bought one for a build, but haven't ridden it yet.

Great find. that's how it starts, but likely not your last:cool2:. I'm no expert, but looks like maybe a Cleveland welding frame. also looks like you may be able to do a Siamese twin separation surgery if you want a single. have fun either way, and post pics of your progress...

got this last weekend. I really like the nexus internal geared hubs, and this was at a good price. really cool seller even discounted the sale price, as he said it needed a seat and tires. so when I got it home, I saw the wheels were taller than on one of my 26"ers, and so it has a 700 c...

thanks for the replies. saw the cwc/hawthorne Kirkpatrick has for sale, and it looks very similar, just this one is newer, so I guess its not a repro. the guard looks similar, and the chainring looks like the one in wildcats pic, so they may be original to the bike. the rest is not, but that's ok.

picked this up over the weekend. first find in a long time. western flyer, or?... lmk if you know... I think a repro, just gonna remove decals and paint it, build a simple cruiser.
