Some different options with the z bars. Option #2

New bars to try out. They have some weight to them but nothing terrible. Figured why not try some 1” motorcycle bars just to see. I plan on trying them several different ways. Will hopefully post pictures by tomorrow to get opinions.

I will need to get some more wrap but I like your thinking. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the back wheel or chain, would be a good look.

Love the look of Trans-mig-rat! I definitely see what you mean with the bars on it. And I noticed the bars actually are in line with the seat, helping the flow even more imo. I do have a set of bars coming that would make this actually cover all three requirements. But I might throw the bars...

Front tire and headset arrived today. Seems very odd currently. Still debating on the bars. But with the rear tire and seat in place, we will see.

Worked on the wheels this morning. Have some clean up to do on them from overspray. Better job masking next time will help that as well. 😆

First attempt painting. Coverage seems good so far, I’ll see in a bit once it dries again. Improvised and used our bird feed hook to hold it.

Currently I am planning on a using a GT Smoothie 2.5 in the rear and a Thickslick 2.0 in the front. So apes might still happen, we will see on that. But will hit 2 of 3 at least for the category.

Not 100% sold on the seat but time to break it down. Need to clean everything and going to paint the frame. Will get tires when close to done.

Just picked this Softride Norwester up this morning. Need new tires and tubes, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pick up this unique bike. Will probably change out the bars, but will most likely leave the rest alone for now.

Front fork arrived last night so had to do a test fit with the handlebars as well. Waiting on the seat and sissy bar to arrive to finalize the fitting before breaking it down to paint and build up.

Current status on the build. The seat is from a 20” Huffy I will be building for my son, just testing height and look. The fram and wheels are the only gaurante pieces that will remain for the new build. I will have a banana seat and running a wide tire in the back with a more narrow tire up...

I have parts en route currently and will get some pictures to add to the thread tomorrow. I’ll be taking my 77 Schwinn Typhoon and tranforming it from what I did to it previously. I did minimal work previously, but now I have bigger plans. Still doing a bolt on build, no where ready to start...

Waiting on some pieces to be delivered and I will be joining the muscle builders. Figuring out the vision so I can have a name ready for the thread.
