FOUNTAIN and WATER PICS - Let's see your bikes in front of fountains, water features, rivers, lakes, oceans, etc

I've had a running theme of always taking pics of my bikes in front of the Forsyth Park Fountain here in Savannah, but everyone usually has pics of their bike along creeks, rivers, city water features, oceans, lakes, etc.... We even had fun with the theme back in Build Off 11 (I'll share some of those pics later). Let's see what you have.

I'll start with this.
Here is an old pic from 1972 that proves that I wasn't the first person to originate the Forsyth Park Fountain Bike Photo.

May be an image of 5 people and outdoors

Since I live in the desert, maybe I’ll start a thread called “post a picture of your bike next to a cactus.”

Other than that it’s going to be a ponding basin, which is the only water close enough to ride to.

For now you’ll have to be satisfied with a picture of my foyer aquarium. You can see the bike right outside the screen door.

That’s little Buttercup, who wishes fish could ride a bike, every time he sees me go.

Here is a video of me running down tourists at the fountain ten years ago on Fugsley.

I can see why they put in those “no bicycle” markings.

Actually the NO BICYCLE area is just past this. Tourists are fair game around the fountain. :D

They spend so much time walking around paying attention to their phones and or having their pictures taken that they are pretty oblivious to their surroundings most of the time anyhow

My first Build Off bike was BEER RUN for BO6. Here is a photo of it on the ferry ride across the river to the Savannah Craft Brew Festival one month after BO6 ended. I talked them into displaying my beer bike in exchange for free admission (and free beer) at the festival. How cool was that.

Oh my.. I attended at Logan, but it was Logan Utah. I went to USU.

OK this is the first water feature to the east of my house, and it is called a ponding recharge basin. The storm drains from all the streets drain into these basins.

This is the shallow end of the pool and you can see the basin is actually 90% empty as there have been no storms.

But these are a vital waterway for the Canadian honkers, and we get to hear them often.
