73 Heavy-Duti fast build (Done; well mostly)

Ok thought I'd try to get back to work so I got the fork pulled from this today. Pieces are soaking in vinegar; hoping I won't need to find too many replacements. I need a new top nut for the steer tube as it made me angry and I don't think its usable by any standards lol.

Hate when paint goes wrong. Looks great tho.

(MBBO Class 1) - Operation Black -'76 Raleigh

Cool bike. No but seen some atrocious ones that should have been; or at least rethought a bit lol (then again I'm sure people have thought that about my stuff at some point)

Never had any luck using flicker. Give photobucket a go. The issue I had with flicker was getting it to give a web address for the picture itself (as an example ends with picturename.jpg) I'm sure there is a way toget flicker to work but I have no clue

(MBBO Class 1) Hot Purple Valiant!! ( done.. ) )

Wow mush more lax on bar height there. Here it states from the lowest area of the mounting point to the highest point of the bars (measured along bars) must not exceed 15". If you want taller bars here you can use mount risers/spacers. My friend has 10" mount riser with 15" bars on his Harley...

That's going to be a wild ride with those apes be careful. I tried bigger ones on my motor bike but control got to hard & backed off on height . Also check your local laws as most places enforce a 15" bar height on mopeds, scooters, & motorcycles.

( MBBO Class 1 ) No name yet...

I've had my images go wrong too; tapatalk goofs up from time to time. The other day I ended up with a picture of a firearm instead of my bike. This should be interesting to see when done.

    Degreasing Parts

Yea kerosene and the like work great to degrease parts. I'm happy with the white vinegar & dawn because its taking care of the grease & rust both over night.

(MBBO Class 1) Orange Lightening....9-Speed...'69 Fastback.

Wow those look fun. But wouldn't want to be in a rush riding that.

    Spyder or Rail?

    He picked the rail.

Thanks. I'm a bit puzzled on this bike. Some stuff that is normally a pain to get off of a bike that's been setting outside for years is coming apart easily (not that I'm complaining about it) but for how easy everything including the stem came apart I'm not sure why the heck the crown (top)...

    Degreasing Parts

I'm happy with the results. Going to polish the race/nut/washer with steel will before assembly.

    (MBBO Class 1) Space Spyder

    (MBBO Class 1) BAD WOLF

Yea. He showed me a pic of it idk that I'd have had the heart to part it out. The vinyl flower banana seat was flawless.

    Degreasing Parts

Ok here we go did the white vinegar and Dawn on purpose this time to show my results. Before After 10 hours soaking and a quick rinse. Don't know if it makes any difference but I'm using an old small aluminum pan for soaking.
