    Schwinn Exerciser build,more done.

I love this as a workbench! I have had this metal ironing board for like ten years... It has been my trusty work bench for everything. Painting, grinding, welding, cutting etc. It's great cause it folds flat, is height adjustable, and is portable too...;) october

    If you could choose...

It's a case by case decision... Really depends on the bike. That being said, I have painted bikes with patina, that everyone said not to.o_O oct.

Another Heavy Duti build... Headbadge mounted

I got some skinny vinyl masking tape, and masked out some darts on my frame. The front will be an antique white with a red pinstripe. So first I paint the red, then when that's dry, I will mask where the stripe will be, and then paint the white... My problem is I get impatient and mask...

    Bendix rb2 questions...

I have a bendix RB2 hub that I dissasembled, and cleaned... I did a dry reassembly to make sure everything was in place before I grease it up. When I turn the cog to drive the hub there is a fair amount of resistance, ie: doesn't turn very good. Fighting against resistance. If I back off the...

Another Heavy Duti build... Headbadge mounted

I used a paint stripper... This is what I used, I found it at Lowe's... It's nasty, wear gloves and eye protection. It will burn you. Protect the area where you are spraying it. It will dissolve plastic. After the allotted time, the paint will wrinkle up and in some cases fall right off...

Trying to decide on tires... Originally I had planned for this to be a trail bike, and was going to go with the kenda nevegal 2.35's. Now I'm wondering if I should go with something a little more multi purpose. I have the maxxis holy rollers on the DX, and like them, but wanted to try...

I made a Rat Rod Bike paint stand .

Yes! I use something similar... Except mine is clamped onto a cinder block...;) Another tip: Use an old quill stem in the seat tube as a handle... It gives you a good way to flip the frame, move it around, etc... oct
