Game bent is correct, the later frames do not have the top and bottom welds. If I remember correctly, Tater stated that 2009 and later aluminum frames did not have the welds, so if you like the bike and the price sounds good to you then you should get it. I believe felt only made the happy hour...

I was going to send you a PM. I do remember you mentioning that you are going to be there. I know some of the other Electra members said they were going too. Are you guys planning on riding there or unloading bikes there? My plans are to get there early for registration to be in the ride.

Crash, I think you made a good choice. The MP will ride nicely with the fat Franks and feel very solid with the triple tree fork. I have an MP on big apple tire and it's one of my favorite rides. If I were to get the new MP I would would have to swap out the forks. I don't like that style myself.

The 1909 reminds me a lot of their early cruiser line. There is a white with either brown or red stripping that they had for a few years, I believe it was called vintage iron. The deep-6 and the MP look good. I may just need to start saving for either one:mrgreen:

Big Al, would you mind sharing what the specs on your seat post are? I like the way that post looks for my custom build, but while searching I found that they make that post in different specifications.

Bryman, let us know how the setup goes with hydraulic brakes. Let's revive this thread. I know there have been people getting some of their Felts lately. I also know some have acquired the Deep-6 and the Bonneville. :D Nothing new to share on my end yet. :(
