A trick I learned from an old Hot Rodder: a loosely balled up wad of aluminum foil will take off light surface rust on chrome surfaces without leaving any noticeable scratches or pitting. There's always a roll in my shop now :D

Had a great one. The LBS I work at teamed up with the local food banquet to raise money and clothes for the needy. We had well over 40 cyclists of all shapes and sizes and skill levels out to support the hungry in our city. Then I saw the family and ate some chow! Hope you all had a good one...

One of the clubs in town has an annual ride where we ride from one Downtown park to another where they light up every tree, an old mill, and the dam tower. We all deck out our bikes in lights and christmas junk. This year the Coke Cruiser was actually ready for the ride, as was the new flatbed...

This is my new MTB build. Definitely qualifies for a bomber. Lockout fork, 1x9 gearset, road cassete and derailleur. I havent taken pics since i put the slicks on it yet. It was a frame-up build

It's a kids bike.....You could build a kid a chopper with a dinky sprocket, 3 foot forks and a crappy flame job. or you could buy him a $700 Felt F24 road bike. He'll ride the chopper every time. This dude's childhood totally sucked :lol:

Most Auto Parts stores carry a cheap version, if not there, any Auto Body supplier will be able to get you a PPG, Dupont, Sherwin, etc. version for a few more green ones

Yakima's racks have always been great. The hitch racks have the ability to "break" at the kitch point so you can get in and out of the back of your rig. You will spend a little more than buying the Allen one at Walmart, but you get a far superior product. I have a roof rack myself but a good...

I already know about the skinny tires thread. What I'm looking for is "traditional" road bikes: drop handlebars, slick tires, gears or no gears. It can be a track bike or a fixie too. It just has to be a little ratty I just started my own from an old lugged Raleigh frame. I'mgetting it...
