    Viking IV

Oh! I do like that, very tight.

    1950's Monarch Cycle Truck conversion

Looks nice! When you were first laying out the parts, I thought that the curved middle tube, if extended, would end at the intersection of the down tube and the head tube. See pic.

Phantom of the OCC - now the Schwinn Black Phantasm

Re: Phantom of the OCC - Ignaz was NOT impressed Looks nice! Don't hate me, but the first thing that came to me when I saw the profile pic was,"If the seat stays on the OCC frame were moved up to the top tube of the cruiser frame, that would look really clean." What I was thinking of...

    My next project-Locomotive Breath!

Nice job! However, when I first saw your title and designs, I first thought that you would be using a steam locomotive drive-train (sorry for the pun) to connect the front and rear chain rings. Something like this (image from Wikipedia); You would need disks on both sides, front and rear, and...

    The Brown Bobber (Hot Rod)

My 2 cents, If the 3-speed hub is not connected to the rear wheel, it is not part of the drive-line, dead stop. However.... That hub looks like it is 3-speed/generator hub. If it is, why not mount a headlight and tap the hub for power? You could even use the 3 speed to change the speed of the...

    SHOW US YOUR KLUNKERZ

My modern rendition of a Klunker, not finished, but done enough to go trail riding after a rain. All bikes look better covered in mud.

Evolution of a Cruiser, here I go again.

Some more updates. Some work on the front brake to firm it up. Looks nice to. Different stem. Sill waiting on the rebuild kit, hope to hear from them soon.

Evolution of a Cruiser, here I go again.

Added brakes with a Potts mod stem cap. They are a bit mushy, but shortening the cable should help. Grips and brakes attached. Nice rear end. I guess this could be done, I still need to rebuild the fork, whenever the parts arrive, and maybe change the gearing.

    Sirocco - Soft Sand Trike

Wow! looks awesome. I just have one question. "I was really able to save a lot of money by recycling abandoned snow bike parts I found on CL.", really? where did you find 'abandoned' snow bike parts? and are there any more?

Evolution of a Cruiser, here I go again.

Well I have been waiting for the fork rebuild kit before continuing but I just got an email saying that it would be another 10 days or so before any orders can be shipped. :( Apparently a supplier problem, sigh. So I swapped out the rear tire to match the front, and I hope tonight I can cable...

Evolution of a Cruiser, here I go again.

Well nobody seems interested but I persevere. New seat, Nashbar brand and new handlebars, Sinz cruiser bars. Still waiting for new fork springs, cable up the front brake and maybe change the gearing...

    Big Wheel All Growed Up!

Fun! Now see if you can find plastic rear wheels so you can do power slides.

Evolution of a Cruiser, here I go again.

Retro Ryder Headset by Paul de Valera, on Flickr Awesome! This bad boy lets you mount a 1 1/8 steertube fork in an older frame, like this. Now I need to rebuild that fork so it works again.

Evolution of a Cruiser, here I go again.

This poor bike. While I have owned it, it has been... A fixed gear cruiser. An Xtracycle equipped cargo bike. A multi-speed klunker. A fixed gear DIY cargo bike. My Biker Build Off 5 entry. And back to a fat tire cruiser, with a coaster brake this time. Flyer... by Paul de Valera, on...

    Batavus Path Racer

Nice! Looks like a path racer already, flip the bars and be done with it.

Re: dumpster project, help me deciding what to do to it... I love fixed gears, I have 4  It is a different experience, like running, only faster and smoother.
