Looks nice! When you were first laying out the parts, I thought that the curved middle tube, if extended, would end at the intersection of the down tube and the head tube. See pic.

My 2 cents, If the 3-speed hub is not connected to the rear wheel, it is not part of the drive-line, dead stop. However.... That hub looks like it is 3-speed/generator hub. If it is, why not mount a headlight and tap the hub for power? You could even use the 3 speed to change the speed of the...

My modern rendition of a Klunker, not finished, but done enough to go trail riding after a rain. All bikes look better covered in mud.

Some more updates. Some work on the front brake to firm it up. Looks nice to. Different stem. Sill waiting on the rebuild kit, hope to hear from them soon.

Added brakes with a Potts mod stem cap. They are a bit mushy, but shortening the cable should help. Grips and brakes attached. Nice rear end. I guess this could be done, I still need to rebuild the fork, whenever the parts arrive, and maybe change the gearing.

Wow! looks awesome. I just have one question. "I was really able to save a lot of money by recycling abandoned snow bike parts I found on CL.", really? where did you find 'abandoned' snow bike parts? and are there any more?

Well I have been waiting for the fork rebuild kit before continuing but I just got an email saying that it would be another 10 days or so before any orders can be shipped. :( Apparently a supplier problem, sigh. So I swapped out the rear tire to match the front, and I hope tonight I can cable...

Well nobody seems interested but I persevere. New seat, Nashbar brand and new handlebars, Sinz cruiser bars. Still waiting for new fork springs, cable up the front brake and maybe change the gearing...

Fun! Now see if you can find plastic rear wheels so you can do power slides.
